altWhen I look at the attributes of a real life high performing team, it matters very little if that team is a successful business team, organisational team or a sports team. What really separates the ‘best from the rest’ are the sum total of the personal qualities of the members in areas such as leadership, commitment, open communication,  a positive mindset and a real will to succeed. There is far too much mystique that surrounds creating and sustaining a high performing team.


Teams are simply a group of individuals who must, from the outset, take personal responsibility for their own actions, behaviours and attitudes to themselves, one another and what the team needs to achieve. When members buy-in to this constructive approach to personal responsibility THEN we have the foundation for teams achieving amazing success.

 

When I work with teams who want to improve I use various methods to quickly review the performance challenges facing the team members and leaders. I can then coach individuals and facilitate teams to help bring out positive changes in thier behaviours, performance, envirnoment and team culture.
