About Wayne

My 30 year policing career in the Lancashire Constabulary ensured I experienced first hand the tremendous highs and lows of human nature. I performed a wide variety of demanding roles, with 20 of those years in managerial positions within operational, support and corporate teams. My last role was as Head of Leadership & Management Development. I have always had a passion for and have spent much of my career helping to develop others. It was this last role that set me on the path to committing myself to helping others achieve success in their lives.
Life Coaching is quite new to the UK and it is wrongly assumed that only highly paid business executives or celebrities would benefit from it (or could afford it). That could not be further from reality! My range of Life Coaching clients come from all walks of life, but what they all have in common is a desire to make positive changes to their lives. Would you like to be one of them?
My professional approach to inspirational Leadership Coaching is identical to my Life Coaching methods and equally committed. This is because the only change is the subject matter. My wide-ranging knowledge and experience in Leadership and Management Development means I pride myself at asking my clients the right questions when it comes to workplace leadership issues, especially during these demanding times. Whether a leader in the private, public, or charitable/voluntary sector, great leadership comes down to getting the best out of people.
When I look at the attributes of a real life high performing team, it matters very little if that team is a successful business team, organisational team or a sports team. What really separates the ‘best from the rest’ are the sum total of the personal qualities of the members in areas such as leadership, commitment, open communication, a positive mindset and a real will to succeed. There is far too much mystique that surrounds creating and sustaining a high performing team.
The word’s best sports people have coaches or mentors to help them be the best they can possibly be. Even Tiger Woods has a Coach!
